Born in 1980 in Denver, Colorado, Benedict is an expert in graphic design and electronic typesetting, with 20 years of experience in particular with church-based publishing. His design work has been described by one reviewer as “extremely fine” and “characterized by elegant lines, balanced elements, a judicious use of typographical variations, and, most of all, an eye for tiny details of punctuation and spacing”. Benedict is inspired by early modern printing, the Missals and Breviaries of Pustet and Descleé, the Beuroner Kunstschule, and Eric Gill.
